Spanish teacher Nancy Bernard and Lindale High School students are heading to Europe in June of 2015. The tour includes Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome.
“I personally have been to 20 countries, 3 continents and there has been something remarkable and wonderful about them all,” Bernard said. “These 2015 destinations rank in my top 5 favorite places.”
This year’s trip will begin with 2 nights in Paris, France. From there they will take an overnight train to Venice.
“I can not wait to be in Venice again,” Bernard said. “I originally had turned the leadership role over to someone else, but I have taken it over again. I am very excited to be returning.”
They then will travel to Rome for two days before departing home. The group will visit the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and many other historical locations.
“I’m looking forward to visiting the Colosseum in Rome,” English teacher Alex Ragan said. “It has so much history behind it.”
From Venice they will travel to Florence, Rome and finish on the Amalfi Coast in Pompeii.
“Last year’s trip was really amazing,” Dominic Di Santo said. “I’m most likely going to sign up for the trip next summer. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for some people, and I get to experience it. I’m really lucky.”
To be a part of this trip, students may sign up at eftours.com with tour number #1618312PS. It is scheduled for June 14-25.
“My goal has always been to fill a bus with just Lindale friends and family,” Bernard said. Then we don’t have to share the experience with strangers.”
