Choir Performs in UIL Competition

Choir students will perform their spring concert May 10 in the PAC where they will showcase their competition pieces. The treble choir earned sweepstakes and the mixed choir earned a first division at their recent UIL competition.

“I could not be more proud of our young Lindale singers,” director Kerry Baham said. “They consistently work to grow and improve.”

The chorale program performed at the Region 21 Concert/ Sight-reading UIL auditions April 13 at Whitehouse High School. To celebrate their accomplishments, the students will be performing for the spring concert.

“My absolute favorite part of the competition was performing ‘Kidsong,’ ” senior Halle Lambert said. “Seeing the judges light up as they listened to us reminded me why I love choir so much.”
