The Helen S. Boylan foundation is having their annual writing, art, and photography contest. To submit for the writing contest, students can hand their typed paper to room 410 before April 8th. The art and photography contest turn in dates are April 14th in room 225.
The teacher in charge of the writing contest is Renee Ramsey, and Rebecca Harrison is in charge of the art and photography contest. Anyone in grade 9-12 can participate and the prizes are $500, $300, $200 for first, second and third place in each event.
“This is a wonderful way for students to showcase their outstanding talents in writing,” teacher Renee Ramsey said. “The cash prize is a wonderful incentive and can be used for college expenses.”
