Star Steppers Work Haunted Car Wash and Trunk Or Treat

The Star Steppers will work the Haunted Car Wash at Precision Car Wash Oct. 22 in order to raise money. Following the car wash, the social officers will work a Trunk or Treat at the Hide-a-Way church Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“It’s really fun,” director Keri Pierce said. “It’s a great fundraiser for the school and our main goal is to have a lot of fun.”

At the car wash, the girls will dress up in scary costumes and will scare those going through the wash, similarly to a haunted house. They started doing this last year.

“The haunted car wash is super fun and entertaining,” junior Kerrigan Pierce said. “I love being crazy, so it’s cool being able to do that while also raising money for a good cause.”

The social officers will go to the church parking lot and have a car with a trunk full of candy. Kids will go around and get candy from each car like they are trick-or-treating.

“I think it’s so fun and cute,” junior Brynn Borden said. “I hope to let the kids have fun and just shine a positive light for the Star Steppers.”
