The National Honor Society (NHS) started making mums for Life Skills students Sept. 30 through Oct. 12 in the Health Science Lab before and after school. The materials are provided and this will allow students to gain the required volunteer hours for the club.
“This event is awesome because it is completely student-led,” sponsor Sally Clemmons said. “It is a great opportunity for NHS students to show our Life Skills students how appreciated and special they are. We can all use more kindness.”
