Volleyball Competes in Gilmer

Lindale Lady Eagle Volleyball traveled to Gilmer Tuesday night and brought home a win with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, and 25-17. For Varsity, Shelbi Steen came out swinging with 17 kills, 2 aces, and 2 digs. Middle Skylar Wyllie was strong with 8 kills. Liz Hutchens also added 5 kills on the night. Setter Kalaya Pierce led the team with 30 assists, 2 digs, and 1 ace. The Lady Eagles Varsity Squad improves their record to 7-0 and will compete in Melissa Friday night against Melissa and Blue Ridge.
The Junior Varsity Lady Eagles lost in two close sets 19-25 and 21-25.
Lindale’s 9A Team won 25-23 and 25-18. Tatum Woodard had 7 aces and 5 assists. Landri Laing provided 5 kills, and Olivia Gary had 3 aces and 2 digs. Setter Maddie Luster also added 3 assists.
Freshmen B lost 18-25 and 11-25.
