District administrators and local community members welcomed new teachers to the district Tuesday. This kicks off a week of inservice and professional development for all teachers, with Convocation happening on Wednesday. Volunteers from the First United Methodist Church and the First Baptist Church welcomed new employees to the community with breakfast and lunch meals.
“We are very excited about the new teachers we have coming into the district,” high school principal Jeremy Chilek said. “They are excellent new additions to our staff.”
