The Lindale Lady Eagles clenched a district win Tuesday night on the road against Mount Pleasant. Junior Shelbi Steen led the attack with 10 kills, and junior Skylar Wyllie recorded eight kills and four blocks and sophomore Alondra Romero put up eight kills. Harleigh Thurman has 13 assists and Kalaya Pierce had 12 assists. The Lady Eagles improve their record to 5-1 in district, and will take on Sulphur Springs at home Friday at 5:00 pm. The Lady Eagles will be recognizing the hard work and dedication of their teachers Friday with Teacher Appreciation Night.
