Lindale Varsity Volleyball defeated Sulphur Springs in a four-set nail biter Tuesday night in Sulphur Springs in their second game of district play. Scores for the night were 22-25, 25-16, 31-29, and 25-23. The Lady Eagles were led by Shelbi Steen with 23 kills. Defensive standouts were Brenley Philen and Skylar Wyllie with six blocks each. Kalaya Pierce had 18 assists and Harleigh Thurman had 14. Alondra Romero came in clutch for the Lady Eagles from the bench to assist in the win. Lindale will be back in action Friday is Royse City at 5:00 pm. Junior Varsity and Freshmen will follow at 6:30.
