Friday night the Lindale Lady Eagles garnered a clean sweep of the Van Vandals on the volleyball court. Lindale’s Varsity squad beat the Lady Vandals in three sets. Junior Kalaya Pierce led in assists, and senior London Reue lead in kills with senior Gracie Spearman and junior Shelbi Steen setting the tone defensively.
The Junior Varsity Lady Eagles won in two sets with Darby Woodrum posting five kills, five aces and a block. McKinleigh Evans also had five kills and two blocks, and Preslie Walters let the team in assists.
The Freshmen Squad also came out on top in two sets. Bailey Wood led with six kills, Keatyn Bills and Mary Ann Hicks both had four kills each. Eva Yates and Abby Cooper had three aces.
