Lindale Eagles took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Amarillo. The game was tied at seven with Lindale batting in the bottom of the eighth when Cody Pike singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Theron Brown was lights out on the mound taking a no-hitter into the 6th inning. Lindale Eagles racked up 15 hits on the day. Chase Rozell, Pike, Aubuchon, Dudley, and Philpot each collected multiple hits for Lindale.
Pike was awarded the game ball and is giving it to Mrs. Speaker.
Lindale took the lead late and defeated Tyler Lee 8-4 on Saturday.
