The Pride of Lindale” Band earned it’s 39th consecutive first division rating at UIL Region Marching Contest this weekend in Longview. In addition, they qualified for the UIL Area C Marching Contest this coming weekend at Mesquite Memorial Stadium. The Lindale Band’s performance in prelim competition is at 2:15 Saturday afternoon. The Prelim Awards Ceremony and announcement of those who advance to the Area Finals will be at 5:30 pm. If they advance, there will be a random draw for performance order for finals and that will be announced at 5:30 pm as well. Finals will begin at 7:45 pm. There are 25 band competing in Prelims and 10 will advance to Finals. From the 10 who advance to finals, 5 will advance to the UIL 4A State Marching contest.
