Lindale Eagles Varsity Holds Onto Victory as Nacogdoches Almost Erases 8-Run Deficit.

Lindale Eagles Varsity got out to an eight-run lead in the third inning and held on for an 8-6 victory over Nacogdoches on Monday Night.

Sebastian Coulter led the Lindale Eagles Varsity to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He went five innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out four.  Jacob Philpot and Cody Pike entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Lindale Eagles Varsity totaled 13 hits.  Brad Burckel, Chase Rozell, Travis Brown, and Richey all had multiple hits for Lindale Eagles Varsity.  Rozell and Burckel all had three hits to lead Lindale Eagles Varsity.

Lindale returns to action at home Thursday night against Nacogdoches starting at 7:00.
