On Friday night, the Lindale Lady Eagles defeated the TK Gorman Lady Crusaders on the road with a clean sweep at all levels. Freshmen scores were 25-12 and 25-19. JV scores were 25-13 and 25-12.
Varsity scores were 25-18, 25-17, and 25-10. Leading the Lady Eagles at the net were Brina Kuslak (9 kills and 1 block), Shelbi Steen (8 kills, 1 block), and Lorin Reue (7 kills). Setters Harleigh Thurman and Kalaya Pierce handled the ball well with Thurman putting up 20 assists and 5 digs and Pierce adding 13 assists and 5 aces to the match. Libero Alisha Kiser had 19 digs and 3 aces in the Lady Eagle victory.
The Lady Eagles are beginning District play tonight as they hit the road to take on the Corsicana Lady Tigers.
