Students and faculty wore red Wednesday to show support for the city of Van and their schools. On Sunday, the city of Van was hit by an EF-3 tornado causing damage to homes, businesses, and some of their schools. Area schools are taking donations to help with relief efforts.
“Even though Van are city rivals, it feels really good to support them in their time of need,” junior Shelby Cooper said. “We know they’d do the same for us.”
