The debate team travelled to Naaman Forest High School in Garland this weekend with a small squad. Cody Gustafson (’15) and Barron Wolter (’15) placed second in Policy Debate while Alec Ramsey (’16) and Jonas Thrasher-Evers (’17) placed third, advancing to the semifinals. Both teams earned points this weekend for the TFA State tournament. NOW, they are BOTH fully qualified for STATE!!! We are very excited to get this taken care of so early in the year!!!
