The Star Steppers will host the annual winter formal on Feb. 12 at Picker’s Pavillion at 7 pm. The dance will be sponsored by the Support Our Stars (SOS) Booster, and it will act as a fundraiser for the drill team. The theme for this dance will be Hollywood Nights.
“This year we decided to have events on separate evenings,” drill team director Keri Pierce said. “We want each event to have it’s own special night.”
Tickets will be sold to students Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the week of the dance to grades 9-12. Usually, the dance is held on the same night as coronation, but the SOS Booster has decided to have the events on different evenings.
“I am very excited because we didn’t get to have last year’s formal,” Pierce said.”We plan to make this year’s much bigger and better.”
