The first round of Lone Star Cup results were released with Lindale ranked as eighth for 4A. The Lone Star Cup judges schools on their overall team performance in district and state championships for athletics, academics, and fine arts programs.
There will be four more rounds before the standings are finalized on July 1. The winning schools in each classification will receive the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.
