Generally, theater produces four shows a year. The shows they perform range anywhere from Shakespeare to musicals. Members rehearse after school in the PAC for weeks before they perform each show for the public. Members consist of actors, light technicians, sound technicians, and backstage crew. For the second semester, Lindale theatre members focus on the UIL One Act Play competition. In this competition, schools prepare a 40 minute one act play to perform in front of a three person judge panel. In the past, Lindale has made it to the state level of competition twice, and continues to improve with every passing year. Lindale theatre is directed by Taylor Jarman and Kari McKenzie.
