Sophomore Makes TMEA All-State Choir

Sophomore alto Halle Lambert became the first young lady in LHS history to be named to a TMEA All-State Choir! Lambert competed and earned a spot in the Large School All-State Treble Choir Saturday at Midway High School in Waco. She competed against singers that covered an area from the Louisiana border over to Dallas and down to Austin.

She will join her fellow All-State Choir members from February 12-15 at the Texas Music Teachers Association annual convention in San Antonio. After three days of intensive rehearsal with a nationally recognized choral conductor, her choir will present a concert for Texas music educators, family, and friends.
