On an emotional senior night the Lindale Lady Eagles defeated Royse City in four sets. Junior Shelbi Steen had 13 kills, six assists, and four digs. Senior London Reue had nine kills, and senior Jaci Philpot recorded five kills. Junior Skylar Wyllie put up four kills and eight blocks, and sophomore Brenley Philen had six blocks. Senior Harleigh Thurman led with 18 assists and junior Kalaya Pierce had 10 assists. Junior Marleigh Thurman led the defense with 14 digs. The Lady Eagles improved their record to 7-1 in district and will travel to Texas High on Friday.
Junior Varsity 2 defeated John Tyler in three sets with scores of 15-25, 25-19, and 25-17. Sherry Shannon led with six kills and Setter Destiny Luellen had 12 assists.
