Head football coach Chris Cochran has been nominated for Whataburger’s Coach of the Week. He is going against coach Tim Russell of Harmony.
“[Russell] is a really good friend of mine, and [he’s] a good man,” Cochran said. “It’s a good honor for me to even be in consideration with him. It’s really cool, but honestly I don’t want it to be about me. It’s about Lindale High School, it’s about our athletes, [and] about our coaching staff. I’m only as good as our staff, and our staff just does a wonderful job so I’m thankful to get to work with these guys, coaches and players, and all our faculty and administration.”
